Study on Interwell communication by concurrent hydrofracturing

Abstract: Fracture initiation and its extention are analysed based on the theory of linear elastic fracture mechanics of rock. The effect of non-penetrated region of fracturing fluid on fracture extention pressure is briefly discussed. The feasibility of interwell communication by concurrent fracturing is explored. Finally,the application prospects of this research are discussed.
