Abstract: The research of time-effect on vertical bearing capacity of single drilled grouting pile in saturated soft soil is few at present. Through analyzing the mechanism of time-effect on bearing capacity of single drilled grouting pile in saturated soft soil and in-situ test, it shows that the frame intensity of the disturbed soil around the pile come back lentamente with the time went by. The friction between the soil and the pile enhanced slowly, it shows stated time-effect. The research indicates that the time-effect on vertical bearing capacity of single drilled grouting pile in saturated soft soil can’t be enlarged at actual test, the time-effect can affect more than 10 percent of the ultimate bearing capacity of single pile.

Key words: soft soil, drilled grouting pile, time-effect, ultimate bearing capacity
