Research on limit stability new method for three-dimensional block with multi-constructional surfaces

Abstract: After simply partitioning a complicated block, then based on the basic theory of block and the limit equilibrium principle of rigid body, a new method of analyzing a three-dimensional block with multi-constructional surfaces is studied and an applicable program for analyzing the three-dimensional limit stability are developed, both of which have been successfully applied in several projects, such as the high side slope on the right abutment of the dam of Longtan Hydropower Project.
