Analytical method of stability of surrounding rock of hard cave in fissure rock-mass

Abstract: Based on mechanics media classification and block theory and stereographic projection, a calculation formula of sliding direction was deduced; and an analytical method of stability of surrounding rock of underground stope out area in fissure rock-mass was researched with project example. Stability analysis of surrounding rock for a large underground stope out area in North China’s Hebei Province was finished by above-mentioned method.
