Research on the pile settlement considering thin interface

Abstract: The constitutive model of interface with thickness and elastic-plastic constitutive model have been employed in order to consider the behavior of interface element and the plasticity of soils . The research has been made on how the pile geometry , mechanical behavior of pile, soil mechanical behavior and interface behavior have influence on the pile settlement by 2D-FEM . Subsequently , several conclusions have been drawn .
