A new roundly search method for slope stability checking

Abstract: A new search method of arc slipping method, which is called three orientation search method in the article, is given. It is pointed out that there always exists an arc with the least safe coefficient between one slope top line and each of those lines which is below the slope top line; In order to find all these arcs, a concrete method is given, and finally some examples are described.
