Abstract: In this paper, on the base of a detailed survey into the rockfall and the landslide of Majiaba slope, the mechanical mechanism of the rockfall and the landslide is analyzed by inversion method. The stabilities of Majiaba slope both before and after the landslide are evaluated, and the preventive and corrective measures are given. The theoretical results are consistent with the practical situation.
