土力学的发展和土工离心模拟试验的现状

摘要: 本文首先叙述了土力学的发展历史和现状,土力学和岩土工程的特点和复杂性;指出要很好地解决土力学和岩土工程问题,光靠现有的土力学理论和近代的数值计算方法是不够的。离心模拟试验由于可以重现现场的应力水平,从而可以较好地预测岩土工程的工作状况,以及方便地验证某些土力学理论,因此获得了广泛的应用。但是离心模拟试验不是排斥而是补充现存的研究手段,同时,在试验技术上,它还有许多地方需要完善和发展。

Abstract: This paper firstly describes the development history and the present situation of soil mechanics, them shows features and the complicacy of geotechnical engineering and soil mechanics. All this may lead to the conclusion that the problems concerning soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering cannot be perfectly solved only with the present soil mechanics theory and numerical method. The centrifugal modelling test, owing to its replication property of in-situ stress level of structures, can be used to predict the working condition of geotechnical engineering, or to verify some principles of soil mechanics. For this reason, this testing method is getting popular. However the centrifugal modelling test just play a complementary role rather than a repellent role to the present research methods.
