Abstract: Strength and deformability of rock under cyclic loading were experimental studied. It was found that the strength under cyclic loading is lower than that under static loading, and that cyclic fatigure strength is related to amplitude and frequency. Also, it was found that the deformation of rock under fatigure loading is like that in creep test.
