Abstract: This is a summing-up report of the topic on development of constitutive modelling of geological materials both in China and in the world since 1985,presented in the Third National Symposium on Numerical and Analytical Methods in Geomechanics held in Zhuhai, Nov. 9-12, 1988. In this report, a brief description of relative papers submitted to this symposium is also made.
