Three-dimensional reliability analysis of earth slopes

Abstract: Reliability of cohesive soil slopes is assessed using the spatial averaging (SE) method. Spatial variability of soil properties is represented by an anisotropic random field. Also a method of landslide hazard spatial prognosis is presented by calculating the minimal reliability index corresponding to the width of potential failure zone.
