Application of rellability method to inverse analysis of slope

Abstract: Both the inverse analysis method and the reliability method are combined to analyze slope stability. Based on connections and characteristics of the two methods, a new method is put forward in limit equilibrium analysis of slope to ascertain slope mechanical parameters,which is convenient and applicable. Some concepts such as average point and comprehensive reliability parameter are initially presented. The method gives some clues to process the average values of slope parameters under the condition of limited statistical information.
