Seepage effects on soil slope stability

Abstract: According to Biot’s consolidation theory and pore water continuous principle, the basic seepage field’s and stress field’s finite element equations and boundary condition are established respectively. By Galerkin theory and pore water pressure, differential coefficient equations are discrelc distributed on space and time domains, then the coupling finite element equations of the seepage field and stress field are established. The conclusions can be of some base for further research and reference value for prevention and cure on slope engineering.
