Analysis of borehole occluding system for tunnel curtain grouting in high pressure and rich water zone

Abstract: The suitable grouting parameters for Yuanliangshan tunnel. are verified by analyzing particular karst aquifers within high pressure and rich water zone. And a borehole occluding system is developed by above analysis; the reliability of the system was thoroughly analysed and checked in order to quarantee construction safety. This technology was applied to construction of Yuanliangshan tunnel in Chongqing-Huaihua railway; and anticipatory effects have been obtained in complex karst condition. This technology can be applied to more field under similar conditions.
