Abstract: According to the consolidation effect of soft soil, the strength increasing regularity of subsoil with consolidation effect is analyzed. The loading scheme of embankment fill is put forward considering consolidation effect. At the same time, based on the site information of Huaihe River waterway to sea, the degree of consolidation and the strength increasing regularity of embankment subsoil are analyzed; and then the way of stage filling is put forward.

Key words: consolidation effect, soft subsoil, levee project, stage filling
