Multi-field coupling and nuclide transport in HLW geological disposal repository

Abstract: The features of deep geological disposal repositories as a deep underground engineering are firstly summarized. Then the concept, mechanism and categories of multifeild coupling are introduced; and the characteristics and the state-of-the-art of THMC coupling and nuclide transport in HLW geological disposal repositories are analyzed. Finally, issues related to the THMC coupling and nuclide transport for HLW disposal are stated.
