An updated elastoplastic damage model for structural soft-clays

Abstract: An updated elastoplastic model is presented. The model turns to the updated Cam clay model’s yield function to describe the characteristics of damaged soft-clay and suggests a new varied law of the damaged variable. Owing to Cam model based on the remolded samples test, the remolded soil characteristics can be exactly described. The Cam parameters possess a comparatively perfect detecting methods and accumulate various empirical values. The updated elastoplastic model can be easily popularized and applied to engineering.
