Test study and finite element analysis of bearing behavior of large diameter overlength piles after grouting

Abstract: Effects of grouting on the bearing behavior of bored pile are analyzed with the finite element method in accordance with the test results of large diameter over length piles. According to the back-analysis results, shaft friction, modulus of deformation of consolidation body in the base and modulus of soils are improved in different degrees ,modulus of deformation of soils along shafts were improved 33 %-67 %; the average friction resistances are improved 30 %-40 %; which are satisfactory relatively.
