Experiment study on effect of temperature on electrical resistivity of contaminated soils

Abstract: A low frequency alternating current resistance instrument is developed for measuring the resistivity of the contaminated soil. The contaminated soils were sampled at the industry areas of Nanjing. With the instrument, the resistivity varying with the temperature is mensurated for the contaminated soil in Nanjing. The testing results show that the resistivity of the contaminated soil reduces with the temperature hoisting. It is a good logarithm relation between the resistivity and the temperature. The best ideal revising temperature method is presented base on the Keller and Froschnecht method and the Campbell method. At the same time, the rivising formula is deduced. The experiment results show that the method is more better than the Keller and Frischnecht method and the Campbell method for the contaminated soil.
