Analysis of factors influencing stress ratio between pile and soil of composite foundation with cast-in-situ concrete thin-wall pipes

Abstract: The stress ratio between pile and soil is a key parameter for the design and calculation of composite foundations. Based on single pile composite foundation static load tests of Yan-Tong Expressway, the influences of cushion modulus and thickness, pile modulus, pile length, base stiffness etc. on the stress ratio of pile-soil are analyzed by using the finite element analysis. The results show that the model built is reasonable. The stress ratio of pile-soil increases with the cushion modulus increase or thickness decrease, and with the increases of pile modulus, pile length, base stiffness.
