Review of deformation mechanism and stability analysis of anti-dipped rock slopes

Abstract: As human engineering activities become more frequent and the scales expand more and more broadly, a large number of catastrophic accidents induced by the instability and destruction of the anti-dipped slopes in the world, that accidents occur in a variety of engineering projects such as hydraulic projects and hydropower stations, mines, railways and urban environments. But such comprehensive engineering geological problems were gradually being recognized and studied in the early 1960s. A comprehensive review of the worldwide research on the deformation mechanism and stability analysis methods of the anti-dipped rock slopes is put forward. Finally, the existing problems and further study direction are discussed.
