Three-dimensional damage finite element analysis of mining settlement

Abstract: In light of the complexity of rock mass structure in mining area, joints, cracks and anisotropic rock masses are regarded as damage rock mass in the paper. And a three dimensional (3D) damage model of finite element analysis is set up for joint-crack rock masses. Concrete formulas of 3D finite element imitation are given in greater detail. The 3D simulating software is completed, which can be carried out in WINDOWS. All kinds of engineering factors can be considered in the software. Case analysis results show that the given way is feasible to deal with complex structure rock masses and the developed software is effective.
