Abstract: The pile foundation strengthening treatment scheme, pile foundation underpinning, jack up and raft foundation strengthening for the interval shield tunneling from Datang station to Lijiao station of No.3 Guangzhou subway are described in detail. Specially, pile foundation underpinning is described emphatically from such aspects as underpinning principle, mechanical analysis calculation method, key construction contents and technical measures.

Key words: subway, interval tunnel, pile foundation underpinning, raft foundation reinforcement, jack up
