Study of pullout bearing capacity of diving dry-vibrated compacted and anti-pull stone column

Abstract: Based on the in-situ test, anti-pull failure mode and stress transfer law of diving dry-vibrated compacted and anti-pull stone columns in sand are analyzed. The calculation of uplift capacity is studied employing the principle of limit equilibrium; and the computing formulas of the pullout bearing capacity are obtained. Based on the formulas and the experiment data, the calculating results are compared with the experiment data. The research shows that the calculating results are consistent with the experiment data. Uplift bearing capacity and settlement of anti-pull stone column have visible linear relations before reaching the failure load in the in-situ test. The failure characteristic of anti-pull stone column is very clear and the failure load of the anti-pull stone column can be obtained specifically.
