Fracture-damage stability analysis of underground powerhouse in right bank of Three Gorges

Abstract: The surrounding rock mass of underground powerhouse in the rig ht bank of the Three Gorges is cut by well-developed joints. The constitutive law and the damage evolution equation of the anchored discontinuous jointed rock mass are set up by damage mechanics, and they are used to evaluate the stability and deformability of the surrounding rock mass during excavation and supporting.
