Stability Study of Dangerous Rock Masses at Lianziya

Abstract: Since 1967, the study of stability on the dangerous rock masses of Lianziya has been made by our institute. The study includes the relative displacement monitoring of rift, testing study, and estimation of stability, etc. all that are brief reviewed in this paper. The test principle and method of long-term relative displacement monitoring of rift at Lianziya are proposed. The monitoring programs are established, and the monitoring results are analyzed with a conclusions given. The principle and method of testing study into rock and soil media are described, and various mechanical indices are obtained. The stability is evaluated for the dangerous rock masses at Lianziya and the slope at Houziling, according to the material from study.
