Infinite Boundary Element in Two and Three Dimensional Problems
Yang Wei; Ge Xiurun
. 1989, 10 (1):  1-11.
Abstract ( 182 )   PDF (553KB) ( 228 )
In this paper, the infinite boundary elements developed previously in two and three dimensional problems are reviewed, and the shortcoming and irrationality of interpolation functions of those elements are pointed out. A new interpolation function of infinite boundary element is proposed. The divergent integration on infinite element is also discussed in this paper.

Fracture Testing Study of Rectangular Plates with Cracks under Dynamic loading
Chen Jinxi ;Wang Wulin
. 1989, 10 (1):  13-21.
Abstract ( 204 )   PDF (1206KB) ( 286 )
In this paper, the whole process of initiation, propagation, and failure of rectangular plaster plates with cracks under dynamic loading is described in detail. Based on the theories of fracture dynamic and stress wave, the testing results are analysed, and the fracture law followed by the plates with cracks under dynamic loading is given.

The Evaluation of Liquefaction Potential for Marine Soil under Wave Loading
Deng Bing; Li Jiang
. 1989, 10 (1):  23-30.
Abstract ( 255 )   PDF (441KB) ( 318 )
In this paper, the potential of marine soil liquefaction caused by wave loading is evaluated. This evaluation is based on the testing results from lab. And site of South Sea, China. This evaluation is also compared with the results from different methods.

The Ground Pressure Control for Sublevel Caving
Yu Guojin
. 1989, 10 (1):  31-41.
Abstract ( 214 )   PDF (624KB) ( 265 )
The sublevel caving method is used in No.4 ore body of Fusan Iron Mine, and large scale stratum movement took place there for four times in the past a few years. Many kinds of instruments, such as AE monitor, convergence meter, etc., are used to study the law of stratum pressure appearance. On this basis, oblique stopping lines and proper support system are adopted, so that the stratum movement is controlled, and continuous production of iron ore is realized with an extraction rate of eighty two per cent.

Preliminary Study of the Theory of Combined Trinity-reinforcement and Its Application
Li Jisan
. 1989, 10 (1):  43-52.
Abstract ( 221 )   PDF (670KB) ( 309 )
The theory and technique of combined trinity-reinforcement are studied to solve the problems risen from the field where surround rock masses are very soft and fluid-like collapses occur. These theory and technique are of unique advantage, with which obvious economic effects are gained.

Measurement of Soil Thermal Conductivity with Thermal Needle Method
Chen Shouyi
. 1989, 10 (1):  61-65.
Abstract ( 224 )   PDF (263KB) ( 260 )
The HA-1 type instrument used to measure soil thermal parameter is briefly described in this paper. This instrument can measure soul thermal conductivity quickly with thermal needle method. A group of artificial compacted kaolinite samples are tested with this apparatus, and the testing results show that the thermal conductivity varies regularly with the change of water content and dry density of soil.

Inductive Strain Digit Measuring Device with single Chip Microcomputer Using Random Quantization Process
Tang Xinjian;Li Chu
. 1989, 10 (1):  67-78.
Abstract ( 202 )   PDF (669KB) ( 337 )
An inductive strain digit measuring device with 8031 single chip microcomputer has been designed high resolution. In this paper, the problem about random quantization is discussed. Random quantization is used to improve accuracy of computation. State method and interruptable subroutine nesting technique are applied to the soft desing. The testing results show that the device structure described in this paper is rational enough to satisfy the technical requirement of measurement.

Model DWZY-1 Intellectual Displacement Apparatus
He Zhonghua
. 1989, 10 (1):  79-82.
Abstract ( 221 )   PDF (221KB) ( 258 )
Model DWZY-1 intellectual displacement apparatus-one of the newest research achievements in our institute, which transfers physical parameters, such as displacement, force, vibration, stress, strain, into digital output signals (through different transducers). DWZY-1 is a modern measuring apparatus which can interprete and plot measured data automatically.
