Abstract: A method is presented in this paper, by which particle velocities can be measured rapidly without use of amplifier. It has advantages over others in a small quantity of apparatuses used, the simplicity, rapidity and reliability of the measurement. The results are satisfactory when the method was employed in a plant as well as in other factories and mines later to measure the particle velocities of the foundation and buildings under vibration.
