Stability analysis of coal pillar and immediate bottom of extraction opening

Abstract: The system consisted of main roof and hard floor is considered as a load system; the interaction and stability of coal pillar and immediate bottom of extraction opening are analyzed. The condition that immediate bottom produces slump is proposed. It is put forward that the reason of floor heave of extraction opening isn’t slump of immediate bottom but effect of horizontal stress.
