Test on a soft foundation consolidated by dynamic consolidation method

Abstract: By analyzing experimental results of the growth and dissipation of pore water pressure , layering settlement , surface settlement and horizontal deformation and in-situ test results of CPT method and vane-shear test on a soft foundation consolidated by DCM (dynamic consolidation method) , it is made sure that DCM could be used to consolidate some kinds of saturated clay soils under some condition and the applied limits of dynamic consolidation method is given .
