Study on kinetic model for desorption of bio-refractory organic pollutants in soil

Abstract: The kinetic model for desorption of bio-refractory organic pollutants in soil is established with theories of transport of solute in porous media and hydraulics; and the analytical solution of the kinetic model is given. And the kinetic model is verified using data of experiments and parameters. The results show that the kinetic model is true in describing the desorption process of bio-refractory organic pollutants in soil and the change of bio-refractory organic pollutants concentration in water phase. In addition , the theory evidence is provided for forecasting diffusion of contaminants in soil, avoiding recontamination and pollution control.
