Experimental study on feasibility of filled subgrade with weathered soft rock

Abstract: On the basis of field survey of slate phyllite and siltstone along Wu-Guang Railway, the mineral components and the properties of enduring collapse are discussed. Then, combining the strength of weathered soft rock and the results of compaction test, the feasibility of filled subgrade with weathered soft rock are judged. Furthermore, the judging principle and method of feasibility of filled subgrade with weathered soft rock are set up.
