The simulation of shield tunnel construction and analysis of its influence upon surrounding environments

Abstract: Considering tunnel construction steps, contact surface between segments and soil and stress releasing, 2D-FEM are put forward to simulate shield tunnel construction to cover the shortage of the traditional computational methods to understructures and to analyze the contribution of construction to tunnels environments with software of GeoFBA. The conclusion and methods in the paper can provide valuable preference for tunnel linings design and construction.
