Experimental research on behaviors of anchor in similar soil slope

Abstract: Based on the field test of anchor cable pulling and prestress losses, the anchor forces and prestress losses of rock slope and similar soil slope were tested. It was observed that the force of 1 000 kN was put by anchoring in depth of 2-4 m in hard rock, and pulling prestress in 20 to 25 percent was required, which satisfy the design criterion. Bonding strength of various rocks and soils and curve of load and displacement in anchor were presented. And the stiffness and deformation were calculated. It provides reasonable stiffness for the design of anchor cable in similar soil slope.
