Discussion on stability analysis method for landslides

Abstract: Based on the example of Sweden slice method, defined the boundary water pressure utilizing the flow nets property, it is proved that the seepage force is equilibrant with the water weight and the water pressure around the vertical slice, clarified the mistiness knowledge, simplified the calculation methods, deduced the formula of imbalance force method using seepage force, found out the inhesion reason that the imbalance force is large than normal, and analyzed by practical examples.
